1) What is Arch and Debian?
1.1) What is Arch Linux ?
Arch Linux is an independent Linux distribution that adheres to the principles of simplicity, modernity, pragmatism, user centrality, and versatility. It is a minimalist, lightweight, and bleeding edge distro targeting proficient GNU/Linux users over the idea of trying to be appealing to as many users as possible. Arch promotes the do-it-yourself (DIY) attitude among its users and thus provides you with the freedom to tweak your system according to your needs.
1.2) What is Debian Linux
Debian Linux is an Independent Linux distribution(distro), that is made more user friendly as compared to Arch Linux , it's main motive is to make Linux easier and more User friendly and improving user experience (UX).

There are many other differences in them but I've listed those you'll need to select one
3) Pros and Cons
3.1) Arch Linux
3.1.1) Pros of using Arch
you'll get to know how Linux actually works, you'll learn how Linux is made and how it internally works, also arch has great speed, so if you wanna learn about Linux , understand it then i highly recommend to go with ARCH.
3.1.2) Cons of using Arch
Not beginner friendly, there are still some arch distros which are very beginner friendly like Manjaro also as it only supports x86 so there might be a possibility that you can't install it. It does not have as many softwares available as much as Debian has but you'll find most of the mainly used software in arch too
3.2) Debian Linux
3.2.1) Pros of Using Debian
Beginner friendly , more software availability
3.2.2) Cons of using Debian
Does not provide deep understanding of Linux (you can get deep understanding of Linux in Debian too), also it's a bit slower than Arch Linux
Which one should you choose
It depends on you :p
